Lately I’ve become utterly bored with my hair. I find myself with the same styles and just weighed down by the length and thickness of my hair. Now, before you want to rip my hair out, please know that I realize how lucky I am. Most people would kill to have thick, long hair.
My problem is that I get lazy with it. I don’t like to wash everyday, let alone style it. I need something that works with my natural lose waves and my round face. I also want something that makes a statement, but isn’t high maintenance. Ironic, right? I know my request in itself is quite obnoxious.
So here are some options for after the wedding. I’m comfortable changing colors and length, as long as it fits the criteria.
So tell me. What should I do with my hair?
I love the Charlize one. I think that’d be so pretty on you. Maybe you should join the dark side and become a brunette
I like florence. I think you would totally rock it. I feel so much better with a new cut for the spring/summer. I was so bored with my hair. Long isn’t always better
Leave it alone. Think of the wedding and the pictures that will be taken. You have the most beautiful hair; braid it.
Mom, you did not read the post. I said AFTER the wedding. Don’t get your feathers too ruffled!
I love your hair! Don’t touch it!
Hehe! You sound like my mama!
Go for a high contrast ombre. I have the SAME exact issue (but with blunt bangs) and just recently did went for it. I also cut off about 5 inches and got a cut that really brings out the waves. The ombre was also done in a way that really brings out each wave, it came together super fun and summery.
OTHERWISE – I vote on the Florence option. If you do the a-line keep the bob mid neck to avoid over exaggerating a rounder face. I did that in 2008 and totally rocked it for a bit.
That sounds interesting. I like the idea of a shorter look and I also tried the a-line bob a few times. I’m a little skeptical about ombre though. I try not to look too trendy and I feel like it’s starting to get overdone.
I love the Charlize style for you – it would be so fantastic with your waves and could be blown straight for an ultra sophisticated look. That said, I think everyone should go platinum once in their lives – it is just a fun experience….but lots of upkeep and you are such a busy gal that it might become a chore to be in the salon so often. I love red and think you would look great in that too, but to keep it brilliant, it can be even more upkeep than blonde – it sure fades fast.
Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I’m leaning toward the Charlize.
