This past Saturday was amazing!  Not only did I get my hair done at Wonderland, but I also went to brunch with my bestie, Sarah.  Afterwards, we walked around the Upper East Side and window shopped.  We ran across a beautiful millinery shop and we finally took the leap and went to Second Time Around.  The prices are a lot better than you would think!  And then we came upon La Vérité, a Parisian based-lingerie store.  (Dad, if you’re reading this, now is your cue to leave.)

As soon as you walk in, it’s pure luxury, fun, and a girly girl’s paradise.  The neon walls, mirrored furniture, and giant bureaus make it feel like  you’re in another world, if not simply dreaming.  The store is full of beautiful, delicate lingerie that would be fit for a queen (or maybe the rest of us that have a penchant for fancy things).  Although I’ve never owned a lot of lingerie, I’ve always dreamed of lounging around in silky, lacy numbers.  How amazing would that be? I would totally saunter about in my silk gowns all day.

If you are in the need for a more special bra or a nightie with some fashion sense, this is your place.  All of the pieces were highly detailed and of the utmost quality.  There most recent collection is composed of neon nighties and bloomers.  I definitely was tempted to buy the green and purple combo.  Be sure to go check the line out in person, as it’s much better to see the quality and craftsmanship in all of it’s glory.  It’s located at 1333 3rd Avenue, between 76th and 77th St.  Take a girlfriend and go make a day of it!  Laduree isn’t too far either, if you need a little snack!
