I always enjoy Nolcha Fashion Week for the element of surprise. Because of the wide array of independent designers, there’s an excitement that other shows don’t hold. Usually I give you a rundown of all of the shows and designers, but this year, I really wanted to present a more, curated review. Instead of showing you everything, I’d prefer to show you what I loved. Be prepared for an image heavy post!
Overall, I saw a lot of baroque influence and a lot of skin. It looks like black and white will continue to be a strong force into fall and exaggerated silhouettes will red carpets. Oh yes, and don’t forget about the high slits because they aren’t going anywhere! You will also be seeing quite a bit of the graphic prints, even though I didn’t feature many of those looks.
What was your favorite collection?
