Scotland RE: DESIGNED

Did you know that it’s Scotland week? It’s all over the country and this year, there was a very special fashion component.  It was called Scotland Re:Designed and  showcased twelve of the most talented designers from all around the country.  If you don’t know about Scottish fashion, don’t worry. It’s far from the tartan print that is synonymous with their country. Little did I know, it’s the center for textile production and creation. Based on the talent shown, Scotland represents a bright future for fashion and some of the most innovative work I have seen in a long while.  I won’t be featuring everything today, just some of the particular standouts.

  2. This is going to sound really silly but some of the pieces (mostly the headpiece) make me think of the Game of Thrones. There’s a sort of strength, beauty and romanticism involved. Really love that kind of thing.

    • Oh, Rach! I think you’re just on a Games of Thrones high! I haven’t seen it yet, so maybe you’re right…
